1 lb stew beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 cans veg-all with juice
28 oz can tomatoes
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Place ingredients in crock pot, simmer all day until meat is tender. Add 3 tablespoons of flour to ˝ cup water. Pour into crock pot to thicken gravy.

Serve over mashed potatoes.

This is a great dish to serve on Halloween with our “special” mashed potatoes. The “special” potatoes are a German tradition, the good witch magically puts foil wrapped coins in the potatoes for all to find. This was to get the children to eat the dinner before going out trick or treating for candy.
