1 stick butter, softened
1½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
2-3 overripe bananas, mashed
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Icing:
2/3 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
powdered sugar
milk or heavy cream to thin
Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together butter and sugar with mixer until fluffy.
2. Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and bananas and mix well.
3. Add dry ingredients.
4. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan and bake for 350º for 30 minutes.
5. Top with icing .
