Your favorite meatloaf mixture. I use:
3/4 parts hamburger
1/4 part ground sausage
seasonings to taste
tomato sauce
oatmeal
rice
2 eggs
1 head of cabbage
1 or 2 jars of sauerkraut. Drained and rinsed if you do not like the sauerkraut flavor.
1 large tomato juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix up your meatloaf mixture.
Blanch Cabbage leaves
Line Roaster pan with saurkraut, bottom ans up the sides.
Wrap meatloaf balls with cabbage leaves. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
When roaster is full, Cover everything with the tomato juice.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Check center of roaster or for temp.
