FAMILY STORY - THE DAILY COOKIES

Nina said these cookies were served after every meal - breakfast, lunch, and dinner, unless another dessert was offered. Grandma always said “be not hungry when you leave the table” as she held a plate of these cookies in front of you. Each meal started and ended with a prayer. We asked the Lord to bless the food. When we finished eating, we were reminded not to forget the one who provided our food and blessings.
