13 dried soup bean mixture package
Ham bone with ham chunks
Diced 1 cup carrots
Diced onion

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beans
Cook beans on stove in 2 quarts water, boil for 2 minutes set aside covered 1 hour.
Add home bone, carrots, seasonings to a crockpot or continue on stove with beans
Boil until beans and carrots are tender about 3 1/2 hours
Add onion last half hour
Remove ham bone and cut ham off bone, return meat to soup
Season with salt and pepper
