2 sticks butter, softened
1 3/4 c sugar
2 eggs
15 oz ricotta cheese
2 T vanilla extract
4 c flour
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
glaze
4 - 5 T milk
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
1 t almond extract
rainbow nonpareils for topping

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, ricotta cheese and vanilla and mix well. In another medium bowl mix dry ingredients. Stir dry ingredients into wet mixture and mix well. Roll or scoop into teaspoon size balls. Place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes or lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet 3 min before removing from pan. Mix together glaze ingredients in small bowl. Dip tops or brush glaze on cookies and then sprinkle with nonpareils.
