4-5 pears
6 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400.

Butter a baking dish and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Use 1/2 of butter and cut into thin slivers to put under each pear half.
Cut pears in half length-wise. Scoop out the core and place in the baking pan, cut side down over butter..
Sprinkle with remaining sugar and dot with butter.

Bake for 10 minutes.
Mix milk and vanilla together, add to baking pan and bake for 20 minutes more.

Optional: Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, cool for 15 minutes and serve warm.
