½ gallon whole milk
3 c long grain rice
2 cinnamon sticks
1 can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
sugar-optional

Directions:
Directions:
Wash rice.
Cover rice with filtered water. Add cinnamon sticks.
Boil for 15 minutes.
Add ¾ of the milk, then the evaporated milk.
Mix well then add 1 can of water and sweetened condensed milk.
Stir and continue until comes to a boil.
Decrease to low.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Taste and add sugar if desired.
Add raisins if you like.
Continue to gently boil for 45-50 minutes.
If it is too thick, add more milk.
