1 C. Butter Flavored Shortening (I used stick butter)
1 C. Peanut Butter
1 C. sugar
1C. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 C. flour
2 tsp. soda
¼ tsp. salt

Filling
½ C. peanut butter
2 C. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
5 to 6 tsp. milk
Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars.
Add vanilla and add eggs one at a time beating after each addition.
Combine flour, soda, and salt to creamed mixture.
Shape into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet.
Flatten with a fork. (I flatted just a little)
Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes. Cool on racks.
In a mixing bowl beat filling ingredients until smooth.
Spread on cookies.
