24 Tbs. butter
4 cups ground almonds
1⅓ cups sugar
2⅔ cups flour
3¼ tsp. Baking powder
1⅓ Tbs. cinnamon
1⅓ Tbs. cocoa
3 Tbs. schnapps (whiskey)
⅛ tsp. Cloves
1 egg
Raspberry jam
1 egg yolk to glaze top

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 7 ingredients into a dough. Chill for about 2 hours, then take 2/3 of the dough and pat it into a 12”x18” pan and spread with a layer of raspberry jam. Then roll strips with rest of the dough and criss cross them over the cake. When done glaze the strips with the beaten egg yolk to glaze the strips. Bake at 350º 40 to 45 minutes.
