Directions:
Drench cube steaks in seasoned flour and brown on both sides in skillet in hot olive oil. As steaks are browned, remove to an oven-proof casserole dish. Sauté mushrooms in same pan, add more olive oil if necessary. Cover steaks with sautéed mushrooms. In same pan, add can of mushroom soup and can of beef broth. Stir, scraping any crusty bits from bottom of skillet. When thoroughly mixed and heated through, pour mixture over steaks and mushrooms. Cover with aluminum foil and place in preheated 225º oven and bake for 2-2½ hours. Serve with homemade mashed potatoes in order to take advantage of the wonderful gravy from the casserole.
