3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
12 egg whites
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat of to 375ºF. Mix flour, cocoa and 3/4 cup sugar and set aside. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add in cream of tarter, salt and gradually add 3/4 cup sugar. Beat to form peaks. Add vanilla and almond extract and mix. Pour into non-greased angel food pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Tip upside down on a long necked bottle until cooled. Great served with raspberry sauce and/or whipped cream flavored with almond.
