1 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and molasses. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Chill dough. Roll 1 tsp. dough (size of walnut), dip in sugar. Bake at 325º until spread and cracked.
