½ CUP WATER
1 CUP SUGAR
1 TBSP CINNAMON
3 CUPS WHOLE ALMONDS (OR PREFERRED NUTS)

Directions:
Using a large nonstick skillet, combine water, sugar and cinnamon. Bring to boil over medium heat. Add almonds. Continue cooking until mixture strings (hard crack) when spoon is lifted. Mixture will kind of ball up. Pour onto baking sheet with parchment paper or waxed paper on it. Spread out and cool for at least 15 minutes.
