1 cube butter
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 c milk
2 c fruit of your choice (blackberries, raspberries, peaches etc) mix with 1 c sugar (or less depending on fruit).

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 10" baking dish. Mix flour, sugar & BP. Add milk & mix. Spoon over melted butter. Heat fruit (canned or fresh) with sugar (just use a tad if using canned fruit) Pour over dough & bake at 350º about 30 minutes, until crust rises to the top & is golden brown.

Best served warm or cold.

The Keizer Times had this in the paper during the height of blackberry season. Way easier than blackberry pie & just as scrumptious. Be sure to not make it too sweet--- adjust the sugar added to the fruit.

I've made this with frozen mixed berries and it was delicious. It is so neat how the crust comes to the top & the butter makes it crispy & delicious.
