2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
4 Leeks, chopped, washed
1 cup Unseasoned Bread Crumbs
2 cloves Garlic, halved
3 lb Baking potatoes (about 4 large) peeled and thinly sliced
3 lb Sweet Potatoes, peeled and thinly slliced
1¼ tsp Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
¼ tsp Nutmeg
4 cups Half & Half

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Melt 1 Tbls of butter in large skillet on medium-high. Cook leeks 5 minutes until softened, stirring often. Remove from heat, stir in bread crumbs. Grease bottom of large casserole with remaining butter. Rub with garlic, layer sliced potatoes randomly alternating white and sweet. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour half and half evenly over top.

Completely cover potatoes with crumb mixture. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Cover pan loosely with foil last 20 minutes. Serve warm.
