Cake:
1½ c white sugar
1 egg
3 large bananas, mashed
2 c flour, all-purpose
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c butter
1 egg yolk
¾ c sour milk

Icing:
½ c butter
¼ c milk
1 c packed brown sugar
3 c icing sugar

Cake:
1. Combine white sugar and butter, and mix until smooth
2. Add egg, mashed bananas, egg yolk, sour milk and vanilla and sour mix until blended
3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to banana mixture and mix until blended
4. Bake in greased 9” x 9” pan at 350 for 1 hour
5. Cool before icing

Icing:
1. Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan
2. Add milk and beat with electric mixer until well blended
3. Add icing sugar and beat until smooth
4. Top cake
