2 pounds lettuce
2 hard boiled eggs
1 pound Bacon, fried
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 Tablespoon bacon fat

Directions:
Directions:
Combine vinegar, sugar and butter in pot and bring to a boil. Stir. Take off heat and let cool. Clean and drain lettuce. Put into large bowl. Add chopped eggs and mushrooms. Crumble bacon over lettuce. Add 1 Tablespoon of bacon fat to vinegar mixture. Pour over lettuce when ready to serve.
