Apple Salad


Ingredients:

2 pkg Lemon Jello (3oz)
1 cup Hot water
16 regular Marshmallows, diced
1 cup Cold water
1 can Crushed pineapple, drained (9oz)
½ cup Chopped nuts
2 large Apples, diced

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Stir in cold water and chill until partially set. Add remaining ingredients and chill until firm.
 

Topping

¾ cup Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
Juice 1 lemon
½ pint Whipping Cream, whipped

Beat sugar, eggs, and lemon juice together, cook in top of double boiler until thick. Cool. When cold, fold in whipped cream and spread over top of firm gelatin.
