1 recipe Mom's cornbread (recipe to follow)
6-7 oz. seasoned croutons
1 lb. spicy breakfast sausage, cooked/crumbled
1 c shredded turkey meat (optional)
1 1/2 c chopped green onion
1 1/2 c chopped yellow onion
1 1/2 c chopped celery (finely chopped)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
7 c chicken broth

Directions:

Microwave the veggies & 1/2 c water for 12 minutes. Mix all ingredients together and let soak for 1 hour or more. Pour dressing into 11x17 pyrex dish (sprayed with Pam). Bake for 2 hours (covered). Check dressing in 1 hour... if middle of dressing is bubbling, uncover dish and continue baking until slightly brown and center firms up.
