8 eggs
2 c sugar
1 tsp lemon extract
2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs and beat egg whites with cream of tarter. Then beat egg yolks until very light. Add sugar and flavoring very gradually. Then carefully add egg whites. Fold in flour and baking powder sifted five times. Bake ½ hour at 350º F in pan with wax paper on bottom.
