1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour (plain)
2 1/2 cups blended oatmeal*
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
12 oz chocolate chips
4 oz Hershey candy bar
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts;

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

* Measure oatmeal and then blend it in a blender to a fine powder.

Cream the butter with both of the sugars. This will take some time, approximately 6 to 8 minutes. Grate the Hershey bar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with the flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add the chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts.
Roll the dough into balls and place them two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
