1 lb sausage (I like the spicy)
8 slices white bread cubed
2 cups shredded cheddar
3/4 tsp dry mustard
2 1/4 cups milk
4 eggs

topping:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage.
Grease 8 1/2 x 11 pan.
Cube bread with crust on.
Line pan with bread.
Layer cooked sausage and cheese on top of bread.
Whisk together mustard, eggs and 2 1/4 cups milk.
Pour over the entire dish and cover.
Refrigerate overnight.

The next morning mix the soup and milk topping. Pour over the contents.

Bake for 90 minutes in a 300 degree oven.

We always eat this for breakfast Christmas morning. We put it in the oven when we wake up. It's ready by the time we've finished opening gifts.
