3 cups Flour
1 lb Butter, softened
½ cup Corn Starch
1 cup Icing Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Work in softened butter until just incorporated. Knead lightly until dough starts to crack. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out to ¼ inch thick. Cut out shapes. Bake at 350º for 12 - 15 minutes until bottom is slightly golden. Cool on wire rack. Ice.

1/2 cup Icing Sugar
Boiling Water

Directions:

Add boiling water, 1 Tbsp at a time, to icing sugar until barely liquid. Drizzle over cookies.

I found this recipe while looking through my Mom, Doris Menard's, recipe box. It had just the ingredients listed, with 'Work by hand. 12-15 min'. Someone else had added 350 degrees. The first time I made it, along with my 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter Marley, they turned out perfectly!
