1 pkg. Fideo (Vermicelli
1 small can tomato sauce
1 can Rotel
1/2 Tbps. garlic salt
1Tbsp. Cumin
1 Tbps. Chili powder
Vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Brown fideo in oil, add garlic salt, tomato sauce and 1/2 can Rotel to browned pasta. Immediately add 2 c. water, add lid and cook on low to medium for 5 minutes. Check pasta after 5 minutes and add another c. of water, if necessary.

Usually eaten as a side dish with enchiladas or beans and rice, add shredded chicken and top with cheese to make it a main course.

Fideo is a dish that we ate at home and my Grandma Opal’s, many fond memories connected to this recipe.
