yams (approximately half a medium yam will yield a 4 oz serving after roasting)
salt and pepper to taste
chili powder to taste
non-stick cooking spray

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°.

Line a baking sheet with parchment, then coat with cooking spray.

Cut yams into 1/2 inch thick rounds and place yams in a single layer on baking sheet and coat with cooking spray. Season with salt, pepper and chili powder. Flip yams and season other side with salt, pepper and chili powder.

Bake for about 40 minutes, turning halfway through. Yams should be browned on the outside and soft all the way through.
