Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1½ cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
2 dozen soda crackers
1 tbsp. coarse salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Line a 9x13-inch cookie sheet with parchment paper. Lay out soda cracker in a single layer on the paper. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Combine butter and brown sugar in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, as it burns easily. Boil for approximately 4 minutes or until the temperature reaches about 250°F.
3. Pour boiled brown sugar and butter over cracker and spread evenly to completely cover them. Place cookie sheet in the oven for approximately 4-5 minutes or until the brown sugar syrup bubbles all over the entire surface of the sheet. Note: the crackers will float somewhat at this point.
4. Remove crackers from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the syrup. Allow to sit for a few minutes until they melt. Once melted, smooth out the chocolate to completely cover the pan.
5. Sprinkle lightly with the coarse salt.
6. Place in freezer until chocolate in set. Break into pieces.

Personal Notes:
Recipe may be doubled using a 13x17-inch cookie sheet.
Zach prefers to use ritz crackers as his base for this.
