4 c chokecherry juice
5-6 c sugar
1-2 c light corn syrup
¼ tsp almond flavoring (optional)

Directions:
Measure juice into a large, broad saucepan. Add syrup and sugar. For tarter syrup, add 1 tbsp lemon juice for each cup chokecherry juice. Bring to a hard rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal, leaving 1/2 inch headspace and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
