3 qts water
1 qt vinegar
1 c salt
Grape leaves
Dill heads
Cherries

Directions:
Directions:
These ingredients make several jars of pickled cherries. Preheat jars with hot water. Bring water, vinegar and salt to boil. Wash cherries. Add 1 head of dill (or to taste) to jar. Add 1 grape leaf to jar to help keep them firm. Loosely pack the washed cherries in heated jars. Seal immediately. Be sure lids are tight. Ready to eat in 4 to 6 weeks.
