1 c. sugar
1 c. softened butter
3 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg yolk (reserve egg white for brushing)
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
optional sprinkles/sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, butter, cream cheese, salt, almond extract, vanilla extract, egg yolk; beat until smooth

Fold in flour until well blended

Chill 8 hours or overnight

Suggestion: divide dough into 2-4 portions before chilling to make rolling easier and to keep dough chilled longer

Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC)

On lightly floured surface roll out dough to 1/8” thick, cut into desired shapes

Leave plain or brush with lightly beaten egg white and cover with sprinkles or sugar

Bake 7-10 min until light golden brown
