Directions:
Pour boiling water over Crisco, sugar and salt. Mix until Crisco is melted. Add eggs. Mix yeast with warm water and add to mixture. Stir in 3-4 cups flour and beat well by hand to remove most of the lumps. Add remaining 2 cups flour. Cover well and refrigerate at least 4 hours (up to 10 days). To make bierocks, roll out and fill with meat filling. Bake right away. For cinnamon rolls or crescent rolls, fix as usual. Allow 3 hours or more to rise. Bake at 425º 12-15 minutes. Makes 16 large bierocks or two 9 X 13" pans of cinnamon rolls.
