8 slices bread
1 - 8 oz pkg cheese slices
1/4 C melted butter
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
1/2 C pepper
3/4 tsp dry mustard
2 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
At least 4 hours before serving time, trim crusts from bread and cut into 1" squares
Cut cheese slices into bite-sized pieces
In greased, shallow casserole, alternate layers of bread and Cheese
Pour melted butter over top
Beat eggs well, stir in salt, pepper, mustard and milk
Combine thoroughly, then pour over ingredients in casserole
Cover and refrigerate
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Put casserole into oven
Bake 30 minutes
Uncover and cook 30 minutes more or until top is golden and puffy
This is great for a brunch served with grilled tomato halves
Sprinkle tomatoes with basil, oregano, butter and Pepper and broil until brown
