8 3/4 oz. can Pineapple Tidbits, drained, but keep syrup

In medium saucepan combine:
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 T cornstarch


1 lb. meatballs, store bought
1 5 oz. can sliced water chestnuts drained, pineapple and chopped green pepper (optional)

Directions:
Directions:

Blend in reserved syrup and 1/2 cup water, 1/4 vinegar, 1 tsp. soy sauce

Cook and stir over low heat till thickened.

Stir in meatballs, water chestnuts, pineapple pieces and chopped green peppers

Serve over hot rice

Recipe easy to double
