1 stick margarine
1 stick butter
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 c oatmeal
1 1/2 c rice crispies
1 c pecans, chopped
1 c coconut, shredded
1 c chocolate chips

Cream together margarine, butter, sugars, and eggs. Sift together the four, soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Add the vanilla. Stir in the oats, rice crispies, pecans, coconut, and chocolate chips. With a large spoon, portion out the dough. Roll into small balls and flatten on cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 8 minutes.

These are so, so good and have substance! They do not spread out on the cookie sheet, so they are the shape you form them on the pan. My husband says these are way better than anything you can buy!
