3 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup dark corn syrup
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup margarine melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup pecan halves and pieces
1 9inch unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, beat together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt.
Arrange pecans on bottom of pie shell, carefully pour egg mixture over pecans.
Bake on bottom of pre heated 400º until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes.
Might put a piece of foil over edge so as not to over brown.
Cool on wire rack.
