½ cup butter
½ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2½ cups flour
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.
Cream together butter, shortening,sugar, and vanilla.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
Add egg and cream until mixture is stiff. Then add milk.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake about 10 minutes.
