Pie Crust:
1 c flour
2 T sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c water (cold)
2/3 c shortening
1 egg, beaten
Filling:
2¼ c peeled, sliced apples
1 T lemon juice
1/3 c sugar
2 T flour
1/2 tsp apple pie spice or cinnamon
1-2 T brown sugar, sprinkled

Directions:
Bring pie crust together, roll out, place in pie dish. Combine filling ingredients and spoon into pie crust.
We aren't sure how she made this. We think you would need to double pie crust for top/bottom pie. Maybe she did a crumble on top? It is a mystery.
