1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Brown sugar, optional
Cinnamon, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add beaten egg, buttermilk, flour (which has baking soda and powder added), and vanilla. Stir in crushed bananas and nuts. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon over top, if desired. Bake in loaf pan @ 325º for about 1 hour.
