1 block organic 5 grain tempeh
2 cups vegetable broth
1 tsp. soy sauce or wheat-free tamari
½ tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ tsp. sage
½ tsp. cumin
1 tsp. fennel seeds

Directions:

Crumble tempeh. In skillet, combine with vegetable broth. Simmer over medium heat until liquid is absorbed.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Stir and heat for 2 minutes.

This tasty mixture can be used as stuffing for peppers or zucchini. Add tomato sauce for even more flavor. Just remember to measure the servings of vegetables and protein separately before combining to bake. Sauce would be measured as a condiment.
