1¾ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
48 chocolate kisses
Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except kisses. Mix until dough forms. Shape dough into balls, measuring with heaping tsp. Roll balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, don't flatten. Bake 375 for 10 min. Top each cookie immediately with kiss. Press down firmly in center.
