1 c. sliced peeled onions
3 Tbs shortening
1- 1lb can corned beef hash
1 Tbs chili powder
28 oz can Tomato sauce
1 Tbs worcestershire sauce
1 pkg. frozen lima beans
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
In skillet, brown onions & garlic in shortening. Add hash; brown slightly. Add chili powder, tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce, lima beans and water. Cover skillet; cook over mediaum heat, stirring occastionally until lima beans are tender- about 30 minutes.

I found this recipe in a Ladies Home Journal in the early 1950's Thought it was terrific dish so Mom let me try it. Well, not sure anyone but me liked it. Terry was especially demonstrative --- AGAINST IT. !! I've made it a few times, once for a family get together at Terry & Jacquies' in Manhattan, KS.
