Directions:

Wash, peel, pit and cut peaches in half. Place 1 seed in jar and fill with peaches cavity-side down. Leave ½-inch head space in jar. Mix 3 cups sugar and 4 cups water in saucepan and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Pour syrup in jars to cover peaches. Run table knife gently between fruit and jar to release bubbles. Wipe top and threads of jar with clean, damp cloth. Place lids on. Place jars in canner; water to cover jars 1 to 2-inches. Bring water to a gentle steady boil for 30 minutes.
