1 head cabbage
1 lb. hamburger
1 cup rice
1 small onion chopped
2- 8oz. cans tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot of boiling water add cabbage head, cook 3 min. to soften leaves, peel off whole leaves, may have to put head back in boiling water to soften more leaves.
Mix beef, onion, rice, 1 cup tomato sauce, salt and pepper.
Add filling to center of leaf, roll and secure with toothpick.
Place in heavy saucepan and cover with tomato sauce. Simmer gently for about 1 hr.
Baste occasionally with sauce.
