3 T butter
½ sliced mushrooms
½ c chopped onion
2 large cloves garlic minced
1 lb beef tenderloin, cut in bite-size strips
¼ c flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 T olive oil
¼ c dry red wine
1 can beef broth
2 T Worcestershire Sauce
¼ c flour
salt and pepper to taste
Egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and put in mushrooms and cook until light golden brown. Add onions and continue cooking until onions start to soften and mushrooms turn golden brown. Reduce heat and add garlic and remove from pan and add to plate. Flour steak bites with salt and pepper. Add olive oil to skillet and cook steak until browned. Remove and add red wine to skillet and deglaze the pan. Pour ½ c beef broth in a bowl and set aside. Add remaining beef broth and Worcestershire Sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Whisk together beef broth and ¼ c flour. Whisk flour mixture into skillet with beef broth mixture. Cook until slightly thickened. Add mushrooms mixture and beef back to the pan. Simmer for 15 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over egg noodles.
