½ cup shortening
1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1 cup lukewarm water
1 egg
2 tbsp. sugar
3 cups flour
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put yeast in water and set aside.
Cream egg and sugar well. Add yeast mixture, flour and salt.
Mix with spoon into soft dough. Grease and cover. Put in icebox over night.
Flour to work down. Pinch off small portions, roll in hands, and place in pans.Let rise about 25 minutes until doubled.
Bake at 450º until browned.
