2 c. sugar
1½ c. corn oil
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
5 c. diced yellow apples
1 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Combine sugar and oil; beat until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Set aside. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cloves and cinnamon. Mix dry ingredients to creamy mixture. Blend in apples and nuts. Pour batter into flour and greased 9x13x2-inch cake pan for 1 hour.
