Ingredients:
1 medium to large onion chopped
2-3 pounds of hamburger meat
1 tbsp.chili powder
1 tsp.cumin
1 tsp. garlic
½ tsp. salt and pepper
1 large can tomato sauce
1 can chopped tomatoes (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place chopped onion in skillet with a little oil and cook until soft. Add hamburger meat and scramble until no longer pink. Put in large pot. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic, salt and pepper. Add tomato sauce and tomatoes if you choose and a little water. Let boil on low for about an hour. Taste and add more spices if needed.

Taste is the only way!! Start with a little chili powder. You can always add more. Slow cook it. If you have a can of rotel you can add it.

Grandma says cook some pinto beans too, so you can mix some in your bowl!
