2 T white corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 big loaf French bread cut into 1" slices
5 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in small pan the syrup, butter and brown sugar. Simmer until syrupy. Pour in greased 9x13 pan. In a bowl, beat together eggs, milk, vanilla and salt. Pour over the bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered 45 minutes at 350º
