2 or 3 lb standing roast (Rib bone out away from meat, untied. Ask butcher for string to tie the roast with)
6-8 cloves of garlic
1 large yellow onion
8-10 shakes of onion powder
8-10 shakes of garlic powder
8-10 shakes of black pepper
8-10 shakes of celery salt
8-10 shakes of paprika
Lee & Perrins Sauce
Soy or Teriyaki sauce
8 oz. can of beef broth
1 pkg of dry onion soup mix

Directions:

Coat inside of baking pan with olive oil. Place meat in baking pan. Insert 6-8 garlic cloves throughout roast. Shake onion power, garlic powder, black pepper, celery salt, paprika, Lee & Perrins, soy or teriyaki suace all over the roast and both sides of the rib bone. Make a bed of the sliced large yellow onion between the roast and the bone and tie with string. Combine and stir the can of beef broth and the pkg of onion soup mix in saucepan. Pour over roast. Total baking time is 20 minutes per pound at 350º. Baste the roast every 15 minutes with the broth and onion soup mixture. As the basting mixture begins to evaporate, add 1/4 cup water as needed to maintain basting.
