1 1/2 cups Log Cabin syrup
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1 unbaked pie shell
3 eggs slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350º
2. Combine sugar, margarine and syrup in saucepan.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Boil gently for 5 minutes uncovered stirring gently then cooling slightly.
5. Place pecans in pie shell
6. Mix eggs, vanilla and salt in bowl.
7. Gradually stir in cooled syrup.
8. Pour over pecans in pie shell.
9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until knife insterted near center comes out clean.
10. Cool on wire rack.
